Everybody says they want love—but when you look at the behavior, it’s clear that’s not what’s being pursued. What people really want is convenience, access, and what someone can provide for them with as little accountability as possible.

In this rant, I break down how modern relationships have turned into transactional arrangements disguised as “love.” From emotional labor and financial expectations to sexual access and validation, too many people are chasing benefits without responsibility, commitment, or reciprocity.

If love only exists when someone is useful to you, that’s not love—that’s leverage. And once the benefits stop, so does the “love.”
