Communities on the South Side have been dealing with gentrification, displacement, and economic pressure for years, yet the people most affected are often the last ones heard.
This conversation is bigger than Barack Obama. It’s about priorities. It’s about a city that can make room for billion-dollar legacy projects while families, seniors, small business owners, and working-class residents are left fighting to stay in their neighborhoods.
