???? VIDEO SUMMARY:
???? **New bombshell allegations against New York Attorney General Letitia James!** A former prosecutor in her own office is now speaking publicly, claiming he was ordered to continue investigating President Donald Trump and his associates even after investigators concluded that no crime had been committed.
Former Assistant Attorney General **Daniel Wiesenfeld** told the New York Post in an explosive October 8, 2026, interview that his supervisors pressured him to pursue a politically motivated investigation despite finding no evidence of wrongdoing.
According to Wiesenfeld, his supervisor, Investor Protection Bureau Chief Shamiso Maswoswe, acknowledged that she would have closed the investigation herself but that Letitia James wanted it to continue.
**”Tish was the boss and what Tish wanted, Tish got,”** Wiesenfeld told the Post.
The investigation reportedly began in July 2025 following an anonymous tip alleging that Donald Trump Jr. and his associates were selling insider information to private companies. Wiesenfeld claims that after nearly a year of investigating, his team concluded that no crime had occurred. Nevertheless, he alleges that he was instructed to issue additional bank subpoenas and continue pursuing the case.
The controversy intensified after Wiesenfeld sent an explosive email to more than 2,000 employees in the New York Attorney General’s Office, accusing James of using government prosecutors to target political enemies. He was subsequently placed on administrative leave and ultimately fired.
Now Wiesenfeld claims that James’ office has threatened him over his refusal to delete documents he considers evidence of alleged misconduct. The New York Post also reports that the FBI and Department of Justice have examined his allegations.
James’ office disputes Wiesenfeld’s account, maintaining that he was terminated for cause after violating professional or agency rules.
These new revelations come as **Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former attorney, has separately accused Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg of pressuring him to provide testimony against Trump.** Trump’s attorneys have demanded communications between Cohen and James’ office as the legal battle over Trump’s massive New York civil fraud judgment continues.
An appellate court previously threw out the enormous financial penalty against Trump while leaving the underlying fraud findings intact. In a concurring opinion, Justice David Friedman sharply questioned whether James’ pursuit of Trump was driven by political objectives rather than legitimate law enforcement concerns.
With a former prosecutor now making detailed allegations, reported federal scrutiny, and continuing questions about the Trump investigations, Letitia James is facing renewed controversy over whether her office crossed the line between enforcing the law and pursuing political opponents.
**Was Letitia James using the New York Attorney General’s Office to target Donald Trump? Are these whistleblower allegations evidence of political weaponization, or is there another explanation?**
