Meanwhile, residents are still waiting for action on vacant lots, abandoned buildings, crime, failing schools, economic development, and property rights.
Chicago Flips Red believes every community deserves attention, but government leaders should be just as committed to addressing the conditions affecting working families and struggling neighborhoods.
The South Side and West Side deserve more than speeches and symbolism.
They deserve investment.
They deserve opportunity.
They deserve accountability.
