Lyndell “Lynn” Price, co-founder of Houston’s Turkey Leg Hut, was sentenced Oct. 30, 2026, to 105 months in federal prison for conspiracy to commit arson of a commercial building. Price admitted to directing a crew to set fire to Bar 5015, a business owned by his former Turkey Leg Hut partner Steven Rogers, on June 12, 2020 — less than a month before Rogers sued the restaurant.
Court records reviewed for this video show Price’s legal history dates to a 2005 arson charge in Harris County, followed by a 2016 federal tax-fraud conviction, two family-violence cases, and a felony theft charge dismissed while he was in federal custody. The restaurant itself faced a 2019 neighbors’ lawsuit, a $1.15 million-a-month revenue dispute with Rogers, a $1.37 million claim from US Foods, a $931,111 judgment, and a March 2024 Chapter 11 filing before closing in November 2024.
