In today’s episode of Unshakable with April Chapman, we confront a growing problem in conservative politics: the rise of what I call the “EBT Republican.” These are politicians who abandon the Democrat Party but never abandon the government-dependency mindset that defines it. You cannot simply switch parties and expect conservatives to celebrate. Real conservatism is rooted in individual responsibility, limited government, entrepreneurship, property ownership, family stability, and a healthy doctrine of work. Most importantly, it is grounded in a worldview of truth, conviction, and accountability. Race is not a shield. Melanin is not a credential. And identity politics has no authority over the truth. My identity is in Christ, and that means everyone is accountable. Let’s talk about it.
